Medical Consent

Please read this document carefully before proceeding with treatment.

1. Nature of Compounded Medications

The medications prescribed through OptiPeptide Health are compounded formulations prepared by EU GMP-certified pharmacies. Compounded medications are customised preparations created to meet the specific medical needs of an individual patient, as prescribed by a licensed physician. These products are not commercially manufactured brand-name drugs and have not undergone the same regulatory approval process as branded pharmaceuticals. However, they are produced under strict quality controls and testing protocols in certified facilities.

2. Physician Oversight

By proceeding with treatment, you acknowledge that a licensed, EU-registered physician has reviewed your medical intake form, assessed your health profile, and determined that the prescribed medication is clinically appropriate for your condition. The prescribing physician retains full clinical discretion and may decline to prescribe if the treatment is deemed medically inappropriate or unsafe.

3. Potential Side Effects

All medications carry potential risks and side effects. Common side effects of GLP-1 receptor agonists may include nausea, diarrhoea, constipation, abdominal discomfort, and injection site reactions. In rare cases, more serious adverse effects may occur, including pancreatitis, gallbladder complications, or allergic reactions. You are advised to discontinue use and seek immediate medical attention if you experience severe or unusual symptoms.

4. Patient Responsibility

You agree to provide accurate and complete medical information during your consultation. You confirm that you are not currently pregnant or breastfeeding (unless disclosed to your physician), and that you will inform OptiPeptide Health of any changes to your health status, medications, or medical conditions during your course of treatment. You understand that self-administration of injectable medications requires adherence to the provided instructions and proper disposal of medical supplies.

By proceeding with your order, you acknowledge:

You have read and understood this Medical Consent document. You consent to receiving compounded medications as prescribed by your OptiPeptide Health physician. You accept responsibility for following the provided administration and storage guidelines.
